Abstract

In today's world, where cultures are exposed to rapid and complex global changes, cultural invasion is one of the greatest challenges facing the Islamic community. This phenomenon, which has profound effects on the identity and cultural structure of society, requires a strategic approach for effective confrontation. In this context, cultural deterrence can be considered an efficient and effective strategy to counter such threats. This study, utilizing the method of semantic analysis of Quranic verses and relying on library-based data, aims to extract Quranic principles of cultural deterrence and explore their role in combating cultural invasion. The hypothesis is that the Holy Quran, through its verbal, rational, and logical implications, refers to certain principles that can serve as a protective shield against cultural invasion and help preserve the identity of Islamic culture. This research identifies three categories of principles: ideological, policy-making, and defensive, each playing a central role in strengthening the cultural and identity foundations of the Islamic community. The results show that these principles, as a strategic framework, can reinforce the foundations of cultural deterrence and resistance, enabling the deterrent force to either prevent the onset or continuation of cultural invasion, or at least minimize its harmful effects.
